According to www.allaccess.com:

A confrontation between hosts at CLEAR CHANNEL's LOS ANGELES cluster
resulted in a screaming match between Talk KFI-A host BILL HANDEL and Hot AC
KYSR (STAR 98.7) host JAMIE WHITE on STAR's air FRIDAY morning.


The dispute arose from WHITE's handling of HANDEL's twin daughters, who
were visiting the PINNACLE building and were apparently with WHITE's producer
looking for a lots item when WHITE shooed them away. HANDEL subsequently walked
into WHITE's studio while the show was on the air and told her "don't you ever
talk to my kids that way again, JAMIE. I'm gonna kick your ass." After a brief
exchange in which HANDEL ripped WHITE's "loser" numbers and told someone not to
touch him, WHITE told him to "get out of here" and HANDEL dropped an "f-bomb" on
her.


The audio clip of the battle became fodder for crosstown TRIBUNE CW
affiliate KTLA (TV)'s "KTLA MORNING NEWS," on which reporter SAM RUBIN played
the clip several times; HANDEL returned to his own studio, although he missed
part of the "HANDEL on the News- Late Edition" segment.

Of course, if this was a NORMAL radio station, both of the offending parties (and I do mean OFFENDING) would have gotten thier pink slips already (that may have already happened......http://www.jamiewhite.com as of 1:09pm this afternoon was "updating."). But since Handel is, for reasons no one can explain to me, the number on morning host in L. A., one can only speculate how Whits got...and keeps....her job, no one is expecting common sense to rule at Clear Channel.
